Stockholm School of Economics
Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) is one of Europe's leading business schools. One of SSE strength is its reputation and extensive network with business-community in Sweden. In the Spring of 2016 SSE opened up application for Rapid Acceleration Management Program (RAMP), an executive management program targeting highly educated people who have been granted asylum in Sweden.
Contelier developed a communication strategy. We focused on words, visuals and a message that would resonate with the highly educated target group and identified channels to best reach them. The program had set high entry requirements and goal of equal gender balance. One of our most important task was therefore to attract female applicants. This was done in collaboration with Women Executive Search.
The pilot program had 14 participants and 43% of these were females. The program also managed to attract a diverse set of participant. The participants have all university degrees including Law, Engineering and Literary Science. The participant on the pilot program are from Syria, Iran, Ethiopia and Eritrea. The campaign Contelier developed spread on social media both on SSE's own channel and through other channels we identified as relevant.
One of Sweden largest department stores, Åhléns, was searching for women who wear hijab to market the latest fall fashion.
We tapped into our network to help with casting and within two days over 90 women who wear hijab/identify as muslim women applied their interest in walking the catwalk. Åhléns works for more inclusive communication and through our connections, they could find the right people to cast for their fall-fashion catwalk.
